 This site’s a not-for-profit for the Koi community—free, open to all, and fueled by a love of Koi. For transparency, it costs me ~£300 a year to keep the website running, plus around £200 on merch and posters I hand out to spread the word—all mostly covered out of my own pocket so far. That holds until March '25, when we’ll need a hand to keep it going strong over the long term. Our goal? Just 10 sponsors at £50 each a year to cover the lot—simple as that, keeping this site alive for everyone. We’re exploring becoming a Community Interest Company (CIC), a social enterprise that locks in community good, giving you confidence it’s not a personal profit venture. With a CIC, you can trust it’s all about purpose, not pockets—like charity with a practical edge.
